When I moved to the United States I met one of the most wonderful human beings in the state of Florida: Joe Brennan from Brighter Days Life Coaching. He taught me something that seems simple, yet is key to “facing your fears” and taking a step forward towards your life goals: Progress, progress, progress – Just make progress! One of the main reasons why so many people are stuck in the “wanting” phase and don’t move into the “acting” phase is because they believe moving forward and accomplishing difficult tasks is about making long and accelerated steps. The moment you realize this is not true and change your mindset is the moment you will break the chains holding you back. So, you HAVE to start and continue making progress step by incremental step. Joe Brennan taught me how to do this. [Christian Morales, Boutique Assistant Manager at Nestlé Nespresso, Orlando, FL]
I have been coached by Joe Brennan for many years. He has always been upbeat and a positive person. No matter what he was doing, he would always take the time to listen to my problems and turn a negative into a positive. Many times, whether it be a relationship issue or just life in general, he would always change my thinking into a better way of resolving my problems. I would walk away after talking with Joe, and feel so much better as to what I needed to do to make my life happy and better for me. He is very inspiring and I am so thankful I can say Joe Brennan has helped me to stay focused on the positive points of life and not dwell on the negative. I would highly recommend Joe Brennan for anyone that is in need of counseling regarding issues in their everyday life. He is so amazing and a wonderful man always ready to help you in your life struggles. [Rebecca Cowart, Retired, Orlando, FL]
A few years ago I was going through a rough break up and I found myself feeling greatly depressed. I decided to try to cheer myself up by going to a coffee shop to read a book. As I stared blankly at the blurred font covering the pages, my mind replayed everything I had done wrong during my relationship. I must have been physically shaken up because an unfamiliar voice from a nearby table asked me if I was alright. This is how I met Joe Brennan. I’m not sure what it was about him but I made the decision to tell a complete stranger that I was far from alright. He kindly listened and genuinely seemed to care. Joe was in the middle of writing his series of self-help books and put the material aside to help me through my pain; sharing his insights with me. It was exactly what I needed to hear. After our discussion, my depression lifted and I began to feel better. I have since seen Joe touch many other lives with his love and compassion for life and with the tools and wisdom you will find within his coaching, his books, and his teachings and seminars. I’m a licensed interior designer and the principal designer in my own firm in Orlando, FL. I came into contact with Joe Brennan just when I was in need of someone like him but didn’t really know it. I felt I was in a merry-go-round of stress and negative feelings and feeling down with certain aspects of my life. After listening to me, and he is very good at figuring out what you are really saying and what might be helpful, he gave me some simple pointers that I could incorporate in my every day life. It was amazing how I was able to see improvement from one week to the next. I had something wonderful to report weekly and looked forward to our meetings. So one step at a time, Joe helped me to make a huge break-through in my life and live happier. For this I’m very grateful to him. Joe Brennan has been a constant source of inspiration and encouragement in my life. I met Joe several years ago when I was just entering the adult world and had no sense of direction. He has always been someone I could rely on to provide solid advice, coaching, guidance, and the positive assurance that things in my life will work out. Joe has been there anytime that I desired guidance and advice in my life, but most importantly, he has been there when I needed these things. Joe has coached and advised me in all parts of my life and has helped shape the person that I am today. I can say that I owe a lot of my positive outlook on life to Joe and the wisdom that he has provided me over the last 8 years of my life. He has always inspired me to chase life and the beauty within it. Without his direction and encouragement, my life wouldn’t be where it is today. I owe a lot to his positive thinking and perspective, because in times when I couldn’t see what was best for myself, his coaching and advice is what got me through. I can only hope to one day be as insightful as Joe is. Joe has provided me with tools that I need to succeed in life and I try to pay it forward everyday when I step out into the world. I don’t know where I would be without Joe. [David Torres, Sinju, Bartender, Portland, OR]
