Reflection: This was a forgotten romantic-themed poem I wrote back in November of 2018 where the contemplator looks back on a dying romance that was once so passionate and vibrant in the days of youth – and comes to realize that the person he or she is with is no longer enough. This is one of the few poems I have written that was inspired by a movie. This one was inspired by the wonderful movie: “Blue Valentine.”
